  • We are incredibly excited to be developing our first Dave’s House Multi-Unit Residential Community. Located in Seminole County, the new community will offer a welcoming home for up to 30 adult men and women living with disabilities including mental illness. This community will feature private duplex homes designed for independent living, supported by on-site case management and peer support.

  • Though the partnership announcement was one of the biggest draws of Dave’s House Party, it was far from the only notable event happening that night. Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings was awarded the 2025 Dr. Joel C. Hunter Legacy Award for his “steadfast leadership in expanding mental health resources and championing affordable housing.” There was also a performance by local non-profit Chance 2Dance in collaboration with Dave’s House residents.

  • Erin Kronenberg joins the Dave’s House Board as Treasurer, bringing 20 years of financial services experience. As a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, she helps individuals, families, and businesses achieve their long-term financial goals. Her background also includes building operational teams and serving in the nonprofit mental health sector.

  • 7/30/25 - Orlando Sentinel Growth Spotter

    Dave’s House is raising funding for a community in Sanford that would provide housing for up to 30 residents at a time. The project would deliver eight duplexes with between one and three bedrooms. Each bedroom would have its own bathroom, allowing residents to have their own private space, and each duplex would feature a community kitchen, a living room, storage areas, laundry facilities, and a patio.

  • 05/28/24 -May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and Central Florida soon will have more services for those struggling.

    Dave’s House, which offers permanent supportive housing for those with serious mental health issues in Orlando, is expanding its reach into Seminole County.

With a strong background in healthcare operations and strategic planning, Thomas brings valuable expertise to Dave’s House, a nonprofit providing permanent supportive housing for adults with serious mental illness—offering hope, stability, and a path to recovery.

  • Bradley Wightman has joined the Board of Directors for Dave’s House, a Central Florida nonprofit providing permanent supportive housing for adults with serious mental illness. Wightman, brings more than 20 years of residential construction leadership to support the organization’s development of a new multi-unit supportive housing community in Seminole County.
