Dave’s House at Celery place

our first multi-unit community

Dave’s House at Celery Place Community marks an exciting new chapter in our mission and a bold step forward for permanent supportive housing in Central Florida. For adults living with serious mental illness, the lack of safe, affordable housing can lead to homelessness, hospitalization and continued instability. This first multi-unit Dave’s House community will provide up to 20 adults with a permanent home, vital support and a place to belong. And this is just the beginning. Using our proven model, we plan to build more communities and expand lasting solutions across Florida.

Powerful partnerships are helping bring this vision to life.‍ ‍Community Assisted & Supported Living (CASL) serves as co-owner and development partner, bringing decades of experience developing and operating permanent supportive housing throughout Florida.

HomeAid Orlando, our design and building partner, is engaging the homebuilding industry to help secure donated and reduced-cost expertise, labor and materials. Together, we are maximizing every dollar invested while creating a high-quality community built for long-term success.

With demolition complete and $3.2 million raised toward our $7.8 million capital campaign goal, we are moving closer to breaking ground. Together with our partners and supporters, we are building more than homes. We are creating stability, dignity, purpose and belonging—and opening the door to what comes next. Together with our partners and supporters, we are building more than homes. We are opening doors to what comes next for adults living with serious mental illness—and creating a model that can open even more doors across Florida.
